Coupling chaotic system based on unit transform and its applications in image encryption

Abstract Chaotic maps are very important for establishing chaos-based image encryption systems. This paper introduces a coupling chaotic system based on certain unit transform, which can combine any two 1D to generate new one with better performance in cryptography applications. The behavior analysis has verified this system’s effectiveness and progress. In particular, we give specific strategy about selecting an appropriate transform function enhance the behaviors of generated maps. Besides, pseudo-random number generator, shorted as CBPRNG, is designed improve randomness sequences. Moreover, novel digital algorithm introduced, where design two-way multi-round transformation network encrypt higher bits lower input images separately. Simulation results security indicate that proposed scheme competitive some existing methods.
